The August Consulting Group consults with individuals, organizations and governments to do good, better. Understanding that philanthropy work is technical work, The August Consulting Group aims to elevate international development and capacity building practices. Donations are oft-misallocated, citizens of underdeveloped countries tend to be viewed as “less than” or incapable and solutions are seldom sustainable. The August Consulting Group addresses that gap by leveraging social, monetary and intellectual capital to maximize impact on the alleviation of poverty.
The August Consulting Group is a for-profit business that provides integral services to ensure our clients are engaging in social justice and philanthropic work effectively. The August Consulting Group disrupts the social justice and non-profit space. While TACG has a global perspective, many of our capacity building and "do good" practices can be applied locally. We aim to address the gap in "do good" work.
The August Consulting Group has worked with Nike, Verizon, Lyft, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Council of State Governments and a number of small businesses and community based organizations.
